ANDRATX

Andratx is an ancient Mallorcan town nestled in the valley of the Tramuntana Mountain range and home to one of Mallorca’s most interesting modern art galleries. The quaint narrow streets and rustic heritage of this elegant fishing village create a warm welcome for visitors as they disembark their yachts. While the town centre consists of spiralling streets and alleys, this gives way to open roads and farmland the further you travel from the water. A lively local market takes place on Wednesday mornings, and every Sunday you’ll find a fun and information wine tasting event in Bodegas Santa Catarina. There is also a challenging golf course nearby for anyone wanting to stretch their legs while on land.

Andratx is a lovely town on Mallorca’s south western coast, and a yacht charter is a wonderful way to see the area and learn about the island’s history and culture. Port d’Andratx is a popular starting point with a picturesque natural harbour, traditional fishing boats and bustling portside bars and restaurants. Cala Llamp, a small cove with pristine waters ideal for swimming and snorkelling, is also within easy reach. The Isla Dragonera, a small island with beautiful hiking trails and a wide variety of bird and marine life, is another popular anchorage, where you can stay for just the day or overnight.
